I love this podcast. I think for years I’d actually felt guilty about taking time for me. Now through this podcast I’ve realized that there’s no need for feeling guilty. Self care IS a necessity. How can we truly be effective to those we love if don’t have self care?

We can’t and I know that now. I schedule a massage once ever 2 weeks, drink Tulsi Tea to relax at nights and have incorporated many other things to boost my self care. Self care best thing EVER! – Denise

A new learning i have come to adapt in my life since listening to Amber; is to schedule time for ME!! Life is so hectic and i have only just noticed that when I don’t do things for myself is when i am triggered and the most vulnerable to binge eating. Its a long journey but No Sugarcoating is definitely making the journey positive and motivating xoxoxox – Chloe

Hi Amber! I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for your podcast this week and for all the work you do. The lessons you have learned and the way you share your own journey, is so needed in this world. I was first introduced to your work after I began following Leanne for ketogenic eating. As you described in your podcast… keto was just another way for me to restrict and ended up completely wrecking my body and it’s chemistry in almost every way possible. However, I am still thankful for this “mistake.” It lead me down this wonderful rabbit hole to YOU. Without this trial and error, I don’t know if I would have ever found your work. I truly believe everything happens for a reason and there are no mistakes… only things that lead us to our true purpose and goals. I have been guided all this time to find true self love and acceptance. I’m not there yet, but listening to you and your truth is helping me get there. I have literally spent half of my life with eating disorder behavior. 16 years is A ridiculous amount of time to spend being obsessed over food and weight. Although I respect Leanne and the work that she does, I’m so thankful that you have set out on your own venture in podcasting. I believe you have a much more important message to deliver that only YOU can do! Thank you for all of your honesty and transparency when it comes to your struggles. You are incredible and wise far beyond your years. All my love, Sam
